Years ago, seemingly out of nowhere (I now know better), I had a vision of the shape you see on this page. Seeing this picture, this shape in my mind, took me on an investigative journey in which I discovered I was being shown a Hebrew letter! Well, what was this all about? I knew nothing about Hebrew at the time, other than being intrigued and admiring the alphabet as a whole. I found out that Hey (Heh/Hei), the letter I was shown, is the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Yes, the fifth.
Seriously, Universe? You know I'm partial to the Fifth! Now that's clever, and you definitely got my attention!
Each letter of the Hebrew alphabet has many, MANY meanings. Deep, sacred and divine meanings. And don't even get me started right now on the amazingness once you combine the letters, or when Gematria comes into play! What struck me most about Hey is that "look" and "behold" are among the meanings of this letter. How interesting that people love to shout "Hey!" to get your attention, don't you think?
